This was my first attempt at the notorious macaron. I found the recipe on tastespotting.com (aka, the best site ever!)
I will admit, they weren't even close to perfect...but they were GOOD! I highly reccomend the recipe. I had to make my own almond flour (above), but other than that, it was an easy/fastish recipe.I didn't get feet. And my macarons didn't flatten out at all really. The batter was too dry.
